Q: Does Amber Springs have a ceremony site?
A: Yes. Please visit our 'Facilities' page to view pictures of the ceremony site. Chairs can also be provided upon request.

Q: Does the indoor facility have air conditioning and heating?
A: Definitely-Air conditioning is a must in Texas!

Q: How long do we get to use the facilities?
A: 8 AM to 12 AM (16 hours)

Q: Does Amber Springs have dressing rooms?
A: Yes, Amber Springs provides a ladies and gentlemen’s dressing room. Please visit our 'Facilities' page to view the dressing rooms.

Q: Does Amber Springs have overnight accommodations?
A: No, but overnight accomodations can be found nearby in the surrounding area.

Q: In case of inclement weather, can the ceremony be moved inside the reception hall?
A: Certainly! Always come prepared for this-you can never predict Texas weather.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: This is a case-by-case basis. Please ask.

Q: How far in advance should we reserve a date for our event?
A: The facility is booked according to availability, so if the hall is open, any party can reserve it. However, keep in mind that many events are booked well in advance.

Q: What is provided at the ceremony site?
A: Chairs, CD Player, Wireless Microphone, and an amplifier are available upon request.

Q: Do you provide tables, chairs, and linens for the reception hall?
A: Tables and chairs only.

Decorations

Q: Can we decorate how we choose?
A: Yes, however some limitations exist-paper confetti, unprotected candles, silk flower petals outdoors, hay and sand indoors, and nails in the wall are not permitted.

Q: What can be tossed in the air for the bride & groom's departure?
A: Birdseed, organic flower petals, bubbles, etc. Please NO Sparkers or fire works.

Q: Can we come to decorate the day before the event?
A: Yes, as long as the facility is not reserved for that day. Please verify availability five (5) days prior to your event.

Pictures

Q: May we take engagement or bridal pictures at Amber Springs prior to our event?
A: Yes. Please coordinate your photo shoot with Amber Springs.

Alcohol

Q: Can alcohol be served at Amber Springs?
A: Yes, you will have to contact our independently contracted bartender to obtain a TABC licensed and insured bartender for your event. 'BYOB' is permitted as long as all alcohol is immediately placed at the bar and subsequently served by the bartender.  Alcohol that is not served by a bartender is not permitted on Amber Springs property.

Prices, Payments & Deposits

Q: What is the payment schedule for reserving a date at Amber Springs?
A: A non-refundable 25% deposit of the contract amount is required to hold a reservation for the specified date of the contracted event.  An additional non-refundable 25% of the total amount is due 6 months before the event, bringing the total paid amount to 50% of the balance due.  An additional non-refundable 25% of the total is due 3 months before the event, bringing the paid amount to 75% of the total fee.  The remaining balance is due one month before the event.

Q: Is gratuity expected?
A: No, but you are more than welcome!
